Medical Investigation Unit

The Innisfree Floor is a 7-bed dedicated medical investigation unit where patients can be admitted or referred directly by GP's or from the Out Patients Department. Patients are also accepted on this floor directly from other hospitals and medical facilities.

Surgical Unit

The Boland Floor is a 12-bed dedicated unit where patients are admitted prior to surgical procedures that are carried out in the Theatre Department. Patients are also accepted on this floor directly from other hospitals and medical facilities following surgery for continued care.

Theatre Department

Our Theatre Department consists of an Operating Theatre and a Recovery Room which is attached to the Boland Floor.

Day Services

A number of services are provided on a day case basis. These include:

	Endoscopy
	Colposcopy
	Dermatology
	Rheumatology
	Local Anesthetic Procedures

Physiotherapy

The hospital has a physiotherapy service available on site. It provides both in-patient and out-patient services. The Physiotherapy Department accepts referrals from GP's or consultants, or patients may self refer.

Radiology

The Radiology Department offers a range of tests and examinations including, general radiography (x-ray) and Ultrasound.

Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care is delivered by priests and sisters who provide help to patients and their families through supportive visits, prayer, worship and Sacraments. We have chaplains from the Catholic, Church of Ireland, Methodist and Presbyterian Churches available as needed.
